Social Pub Quiz

The Reliance is hosting its social pub quiz on Tuesday 20 October, and if you've never been, it's a straightforward one: a pub quiz in a pub. The Reliance sits at 336 Old Street, right in the thick of Old Street in EC1V, so it's an easy enough spot to find if you're coming in from the City or heading over from Shoreditch.

This isn't a one-off, either. The quiz runs every other Tuesday, so if you miss this one, there's another coming around a couple of weeks later. It's hosted by Binita and Oliver S., with Oliver listed as the Super Organizer, and they're the ones running the show on the night.

Timing is the bit to get right. The evening runs from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, but the quiz itself doesn't actually kick off until 7pm. The organisers ask that you arrive by 6:30pm, which gives you a half-hour window to get your team sorted, grab a drink, and settle in before the first round starts. If you're turning up right at 7, you'll be starting on the back foot, so it's worth aiming for that earlier slot.

Entry is £3, which you pay on the day via QR code. It's a low-stakes night, and since it's a regular fixture, you can always come back and try again when the next one rolls around. The Reliance is at 336 Old Street, London EC1V 9DR, and the quiz runs from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Tuesday 20 October, with the first question coming at 7pm.
