Over-18s Halloween party with live music, cocktails, fancy dress and a costume competition 35 floors up at the Sky Garden.
Sky Garden is doing its Halloween party on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October, two nights 35 floors up in the City. It's built around a Halloween festival in the sky, with live music, cocktails, fancy dress and a soundtrack of Halloween anthems, plus 360-degree views of London after dark. There's a costume competition running alongside the dancing, so it's the kind of night where you'll want to turn up in full dress rather than just a few accessories.
The venue is the Sky Garden itself, the 45,000-square-foot space at the top of 20 Fenchurch Street — the building better known as the Walkie Talkie. It's billed as the city's highest landscaped public gardens, and it's home to two of its most exclusive restaurants and bars. The whole thing is managed by Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, and because it's naturally ventilated, the indoor temperature follows the outside, so keep that in mind when you're deciding what to wear under your costume. The outdoor terrace closes daily at 6 pm, so if you want to see the view from outside, you'll need to get there before then.

Entry is £35 per person, and there are a few practical things to have sorted before you head in. The venue is strictly cashless, so leave the coins at home. It's for over-18s only, and you'll need a physical photo ID to get through the door — a photo on your phone won't cut it. With two nights to choose from, you can pick the one that suits you best: Friday 30 or Saturday 31 October, both at Sky Garden, 20 Fenchurch Street, 1 Sky Garden Walk, EC3M 8AF.
