A magickal silent supper in honour of the dead, with ceremony, readings, chants and song by Keith Broad and the Kingfisher Coven.
Keith Broad and the Kingfisher Coven are bringing the Silent Supper of the Witches to Lost Souls Pizza Camden on Thursday 22 October, from 7:30pm to 10pm. It's a magickal evening of ceremony, memory, chant and song, and the organisers frame it as a mystical alternative to a standard Halloween party.
The night opens with a ceremony suitable for everyone, which leads into the silent meal itself: everyone eats in the strictest silence in honour of the dead. After that, the evening continues with readings and chants, and a chance to celebrate the life of someone who has passed. You're invited to bring photos and artefacts to share, so it's as much about remembering as it is about the ceremony.
There's a dress code to keep in mind, too. They're asking for your witchy finest or Day of the Dead style, but plastic masks and Dracula costumes are not permitted. It's the kind of thing that works best if you lean into it, so if you've got something in the wardrobe that fits the bill, this is the night to wear it.

Tickets are £22, which covers the event, a pizza, and a beer or a glass of wine. That's the meal you'll be eating in silence, so it's all bundled in. The whole thing runs from 7:30pm to 10pm at Lost Souls Pizza Camden, 245 Eversholt Street, London NW1 1BA.
