One-day 18+ festival inspired by DIY culture and grassroots movements, celebrating London's music and arts communities and raising funds for Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers.
RALLY 2027 takes over Southwark Park on Saturday 28 August, a one-day festival put on by AGALA and Bird On The Wire. It's built around DIY culture and grassroots movements, and they describe it as a celebration of London's music and arts communities. It's not just about the music on the day, either — there's a fair bit going on behind the scenes that ties it back into the local area.
One of those links is with BOSCO Youth Centre, which runs BOSCOFFEE and an internship programme at the event, so people from the centre are actually working on the day. There's also a fundraising side to it: RALLY raises money for the Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers, and since the first edition in 2023, it's brought in £7,488. In 2024, that support went towards a TATE Collective X BOSCO installation.
If you live near the park, there are resident tickets available — free or discounted — to make sure the people who actually live around the venue can get in. It's strictly 18+, run under a Challenge 25 policy, and there's a wellbeing safeguarding strategy in place, with a welfare security officer and a safe space run by trained professionals on site throughout the day.
