A flea market of vintage furniture, reclaimed industrial fixtures, lighting and homewares from more than 60 traders in a former cricket bat factory.
Peckham Salvage Yard opens on Sunday 15 November at Copeland Park, in Unit 8, which used to be a cricket bat factory. It's a big, open space in Peckham, SE15 3SN, and they're calling it a 'flea-topia' of vintage furniture, reclaimed industrial fixtures, lighting, salvaged electricals, and a mix of homewares, curiosities and collectables.
More than 60 hand-picked traders gather there, bringing 20th-century furniture, salvaged French homeware, vintage clothes, kitchenalia and reclaimed industrial fittings. The organisers frame it as a place to hunt for personal treasures and bargains, and to refresh a living space with unique finds across a massive yard of salvaged old things. They also encourage shoppers to buy sustainably rather than in the 'buy-gone' era, so it's as much about the ethos as the objects themselves.
