Two 'PC Music presents: Pop Crypt' sessions at Colour Factory: an early show from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm and a late-night club night from 10:30 pm to 4:00 am, with live sets from Hannah Diamond and Namasenda, plus Koreless and Mina GalĂ n.
PC Music are taking over Colour Factory on Saturday 31 October, as part of their Pop Crypt series. There are actually two sessions: an early show running from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and a second, late-night session from 10:30 pm through to 4:00 am on Sunday morning.
The late session is presented as a club night rather than a standard gig. On the bill are Hannah Diamond and Namasenda, both performing live sets, with Koreless and Mina GalĂ n also on the lineup. Diamond and Namasenda are two of the label's most recognisable voices, and having them both playing live sets should give the night a good amount of its signature pop sensibility. Koreless and Mina GalĂ n round out the bill, so there's a fair bit of ground covered across the one night.
The whole thing sits under the Pop Crypt banner, a series of experimental club events presented by PC Music and curated alongside dollop and Brain Dead. They describe it as bringing together a roster of artists working at the edges of club music, which gives you a decent idea of the territory they're aiming for — pop, but pushed into club territory.
