Party n Paint

Party n Paint takes over Sway Bar on Friday 18 December, from 19:00 to 22:00. It's a three-hour session that puts a paintbrush in one hand and a drink in the other, with a DJ spinning 90s RnB, hip-hop and club classics throughout. The organisers frame it as a full-on party rather than just a paint class, so the music is as much a part of the night as the art.

You don't need to be an artist to get involved. A resident artist guides everyone through every step, so you leave with a finished piece regardless of where you're starting from. All the art supplies are provided, and you get a complimentary shot on arrival to kick things off. Between the painting, there are games, lip-sync battles and crowd mic moments, with prizes and friendly competitions running alongside.

If you're bringing a group, there are celebration packages for birthdays, hen dos and other occasions, which add cakes, shots, queue jump, a professional photographer and reserved space. Entry is for over-18s only, and spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so it's worth booking early if you're planning a big group. Tickets run from £38.50 to £462, depending on the package you go for, and the session runs from 19:00 to 22:00 at Sway Bar, 61-65 Great Queen St, London WC2B 5BZ.
