Over-18s night of hard rock, disco and psychedelic shoegaze with stand-up comedy to open, presented by DreamBagsJaguarShoes.
Overlord: The Final Act is at Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes on Thursday 29 October, presented by the venue itself. It's a bit of a strange one on the bill: hard rock, disco and psychedelic shoegaze, with stand-up comedy to open the night. The comedy is the first thing on, so if you're coming for that, you'll want to be there early.
The title is a bit of a giveaway that this is an ending. Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes describes Overlord: The Final Act as 'a failed science project that lost its funding for the reverse engineering of joy', and this night is the series finale. It's the last one under this name, clearing the way for something they're calling Headquarters.

That puts the whole thing in context. The hard rock, disco and psychedelic shoegaze are the main event, and the comedy is the opener. The room holds 180, so it's a decent-sized space rather than a tiny backroom. Doors open at 19:00, and it's an over-18s night, so keep that in mind if you're bringing anyone younger. Entry is free, and the venue is at 32-34 Kingsland Rd, London E2 8DA.
