Origins: The Ghost (All Day Long)

The Ghost are back at FOLD on Saturday 31 October, their fourth outing at the venue. It's billed as an all-day Halloween trip, and it lives up to the name: the session runs open-to-close across six hours of deep house sets. The whole thing is presented by Origins Sound LTD.

If you've been to their previous nights at FOLD, you'll know the format. The Ghost don't do a standard club night that kicks off late and peaks around 2am; this is a proper afternoon-into-evening affair, with the music starting early and carrying through. The six-hour window is dedicated to deep house, so it's more of a slow-burn than a sprint. It's the kind of session where you can arrive in the afternoon and stay well into the night, rather than just dropping in for a few hours.

Because it's Halloween, the date is part of the draw. The Ghost have a habit of returning to FOLD, and this is their fourth time back, so there's a bit of a relationship there. The session is for over-21s only, which is worth keeping in mind if you're planning a group trip. The music stays in the deep house territory throughout, so it's a consistent run of sets rather than a night that shifts gears as the hours go by.

It kicks off at 3:00 PM at FOLD, Gillian House, Stephenson St, London E16 4SA, and runs open-to-close. Tickets are £37.
