Over-18s themed bingo night with RnB club classics, dance competitions and prizes at DUO Clapham.
Old Skool Bingo is at DUO Clapham on Saturday 24 October, and it's a fair way to spend a Saturday night if you're into RnB club classics and modern bangers. The whole thing takes the quiet hall bingo we all know and flips it on its head: instead of the hushed atmosphere, you've got a night of music, with an MC running the show.
The bingo rounds are the core of it, but they're just one part of the evening. Between the games, there are dance competitions and prizes up for grabs, and if you're coming with a group, they do birthday packages too. Food is available at the venue, so you can eat before you start, and you're welcome to stay on for the after party once the bingo has wrapped up. It's the kind of night that works as well for a group of friends as it does for a birthday.
Old Skool Bingo runs this format across London, and they do a Halloween Special as well, so this is one of several dates they have going. A couple of things to keep in mind before you book: it's strictly over-18s, and there's a smart-casual dress code, so you'll want to dress up a bit rather than turning up in trainers and a t-shirt.
