Old School R&B Brunch is at The Steel Yard this Saturday 24 October, and it's a daytime one. Doors open at 12:00, with last entry at 3:30pm, so it's a proper mid-day session rather than a late night. The whole thing is run by the OSR Group and fronted by a team of DJs and hosts. They describe it as the UK's first official Old School R&B Brunch, and the music is the main thing: a nostalgic trip through the golden eras of old school R&B, running from the classic anthems through to more recent favourites. They pepper in the occasional island flavour, afrobeats, and commercial hits along the way, so it's not just one sound on repeat.
