New Year's Eve soirée at the Victorian-style Mr Fogg's Botanical Tavern in Fitzrovia, from 10pm.
Mr Fogg's Botanical Tavern is hosting a New Year's Eve Soirée on Thursday 31 December, running from 10pm until 2:30am. It's a late one, so it's more of a countdown party than a dinner spot, and it'll carry you right through to the early hours of New Year's Day.
The venue is at 48 Newman Street in Fitzrovia, and it's a Victorian-style tavern built around the travels of the legendary explorer Phileas J. Fogg. It's full of botanical interiors, craft cocktails and hearty British fare, and it's spread across two floors: the ground-floor tavern and the Treehouse, a wisteria-ceilinged hideaway reached by a sweeping spiral staircase. The Botanical Tavern is part of the Mr Fogg's Collection, a group of Victorian-inspired cocktail bars and taverns across London that programme live music, cockney singalongs, brunches and themed soirées, with each space drawing its idea from the merchants and trading posts Fogg would have encountered on his journey.

If you're planning to bring a dog along, well-behaved ones are welcome on the ground floor before 6pm from Sunday to Friday. That's also the only floor that's wheelchair accessible, so keep that in mind if you're sorting out a group. The soirée itself kicks off at 10pm and runs until 2:30am on Thursday 31 December at Mr Fogg's Botanical Tavern, 48 Newman Street, Fitzrovia, London W1T 1QQ.
