Concert by Irish blues guitarist and singer Muireann Bradley with support from BLÁNID at Stone Nest, part of the EFG London Jazz Festival.
Muireann Bradley plays Stone Nest on Friday 13 November, with BLÁNID opening. It's part of the EFG London Jazz Festival, presented in collaboration with Communion ONE.
Bradley is an Irish guitarist and singer who picked up the guitar at nine, inspired by her blues-loving father. She recorded her debut album, I Kept These Old Blues, when she was just fourteen — a collection of covers by blues figures like Blind Blake, Rev Gary Davis and Mississippi John Hurt. That record got her noticed by industry figures including Jools Holland, who invited her to perform on the Hootenanny. Now eighteen, she's spent the years since taking her interpretations of classic blues songs to audiences around the world.
Opening the night is BLÁNID, a singer whose voice is described as distinctively rich, sweet and powerful. Her debut album, SERENE, is due in 2027, but it's already amassed over a million streams on Spotify.
