MOTION is taking over XOYO for a Halloween special on Monday 26 October, and if you've spent any time in the London club scene, you'll know the name. It's been running every Monday at XOYO since 2014, and it bills itself as the city's biggest and most reliable student night. This particular one falls on the Monday after Halloween, so it's the kind of night that works as a proper extension of the bank holiday weekend rather than a mid-week outlier.
For 2026, the night is returning inside a completely refurbished and upgraded venue. The organisers describe it as the ultimate Monday night experience for students across London, with high-energy crowds and cheap drinks all night. The music leans on Hip Hop, R&B, Trap, Rap, Afrobeats and Bashment, so it's a broad mix that keeps the dancefloor moving rather than sticking to one narrow sound. The whole thing is presented by Lowercase Events.
It's a student-focused night, but you don't have to be one to get in. Entry is for over-18s only, and you'll need a valid photo ID to get through the door. A student ID may also be needed, so it's worth having yours on you just in case. The venue is wheelchair accessible, too.

Doors open at 22:30, and the night runs for about four hours, taking you well into the early hours of Tuesday morning. Tickets are £11.56, and XOYO is at 32-37 Cowper St, London EC2A 4AP, right in the heart of Shoreditch.
