Grime and garage night with Manga Saint Hilare, emcees and DJs at The Fox and Firkin in Lewisham.
Manga Saint Hilare returns to The Fox and Firkin on Thursday 12 November, with In the Dance taking over the night. It's a homecoming of sorts: this is the same room that hosted his set for Roll Deep's great return, so he's stepping back into familiar territory.
The whole night is built around garage and grime, and Hilare won't be doing it alone. He'll be joined by emcees and DJs to keep the vibes going until close, with special guests still to be announced. It's a proper club night rather than a seated show, with the dancefloor as the focus.
For those who know the name but maybe not the history, Manga Saint Hilare is a founding member of Roll Deep and a hero of the grime scene. He's one of the figures who helped shape the sound from the inside, and this night is a chance to see him back in the room where he's played before. The garage and grime focus tells you exactly what to expect: fast tempos, heavy bass, and the kind of energy that works best when the room is full.
