Weekly Friday club takeover of Egg London with chart, hip hop and house music, cocktails and street food, with limited free entry.
MALOKA CLUB takes over Egg London on Friday 4 December, from 11 PM through to 6 AM. It's billed as London's newest Friday night party, and it's a full club takeover, so the whole venue is theirs for the night. The music is spread across three rooms, blending R&B, Reggaeton, Afrobeats, Afro House, Latin House, House, Tribal, Funk, Soca, Amapiano, Pop, Hip Hop and chart hits. If you're not into one room, there are two more to move between, and the mix covers a lot of groundโfrom the dancefloor-focused house and tribal sounds to the more melodic R&B and chart hits.
Beyond the music, there are cocktails and street food on hand, and an open-air rooftop garden to step out into when you need a breather. The venue itself is Egg London, an electronic music nightclub in a converted Victorian warehouse on Vale Royal, close to King's Cross, which first opened in 2003. It's a well-known spot in the city's nightlife, and this night puts it to good use with three rooms running simultaneously.
