Musical comedy 'Exterminator' with Paweł Domagała, mixing rock music, stand-up humour and audience interaction.
Paweł Domagała brings Exterminator to Logan Hall on Saturday 7 November, a musical comedy that doesn't quite fit into one box. It's a production from City Heroes Club and Polski Teatr Komedia, and it's recommended for ages 16 and over.
The story follows a rock band whose motto was 'Zero compromises!' until reality, wives and the obligation to play disco polo at harvest festivals forced them into a completely new role. From there it's a mix of theatre, stand-up humour and interaction with the audience, presented as a rock explosion of emotion and laughter rather than just another show.
It breaks a few conventions along the way: the actors play real instruments and sing along with the crowd, and the production bills itself as rock, loud and uncensored, with guitar riffs they claim no one else is playing on the Polish scene. Domagała leads the cast, with Wojciech Solarz, Agata Wątróbska, Kamila Kuboth-Schuchardt, Damian Kulec, Kamil Siegmund and Sebastian Skoczeń. Aldona Figura directed, Przemysław Jurek wrote it, and Zuzanna Markiewicz did the costumes.
