Weekly Thursday live music session at the Victorian cocktail bar Mr Fogg's Apothecary in Mayfair.
Mr Fogg's Apothecary has live music every Thursday from 8pm, a mid-week slot that sits alongside its regular cocktail service. The venue is at 34 Brook Street in Mayfair, opposite Claridge's, and it's part of the Mr Fogg's Collection of cocktail bars and taverns across London.
The room is built around the global adventures of Phileas J. Fogg. A grand staircase leads up to a bar stocked like an apothecary, with an adjoining Elixir Room. Curative tonics, restorative remedies and compounded libations are served in medicinal bottles of all shapes and sizes. It's a Victorian cocktail bar in Mayfair, and the music is one part of what goes on here.
Beyond the weekly music, the venue runs themed experiences like Bath Tea Making and Cocktail Experiments in the Elixir Room, as well as Halloween cocktail experiments, murder mysteries and New Year's Eve soirées. It's also known for cockney singalongs, brunches and soirées, so the music on Thursdays is just one of several things they programme throughout the week.
