Pre-Halloween roller-skating party with live DJs, costume contest, games, raffle and drink specials at Roller Nation.
Adults Play take over Roller Nation on Friday 30 October for a pre-Halloween roller-skating party they've called Mischief Night. It's a full night of skating, and they've billed it as the best way to kick off the Halloween weekend.
Live DJs will be on the decks throughout, spinning R&B, hip-hop, dancehall, soca, afrobeats and club classics. The mix covers a fair bit of ground, so it's as much about the dancefloor as it is about the skating. The night doesn't stop at the music, either: they're running games, raffle giveaways, and drink specials, and there's a best-dressed costume contest to top it off. They're encouraging everyone to roll in costume, so it's a good excuse to get something sorted before the actual day.
It's a late one, too. The party runs from 7:00 pm right through until 1:00 am, which gives you plenty of time to get your skating in and still have room for the games and the costume contest. If you're planning on going, keep in mind it's a costume night, so coming dressed up is part of the whole thing.
