Leo Sayer returns to the UK for what he calls his final full UK tour with a high-energy show at the London Palladium.
Leo Sayer plays The London Palladium on Tuesday 27 October, his first London date of what he's calling his final full UK tour. He's been on the road for nearly sixty years, and this run marks his return to the UK. He's made a point of saying he isn't retiring, just slowing down the number of live shows he takes on.
It's a big year for him beyond the stage, too. His autobiography, Just A Boy, and a career-spanning CD box set are both due out this year, so the tour sits alongside a proper look back at where he started. The songbook he's drawing from is a long one: 'Thunder In My Heart', 'Moonlighting', 'One Man Band', 'I Can't Stop Loving You', 'More Than I Can Say', 'Have You Ever Been in Love' and 'The Show Must Go On' are all in the mix, alongside the transatlantic number ones 'When I Need You' and 'You Make Me Feel Like Dancing'.

He'll be joined on stage by his band, and together they're promising a high-energy evening. It's a full-band set, so expect the songs to be played out loud rather than stripped back. The Palladium is on Argyll Street, W1F 7TF, in the West End, and the show is on Tuesday 27 October.
