The Latin Quarter quartet returns to Bush Hall for its Crooks & Crimes tour, playing songs old and new.
Latin Quarter Quartet are back at Bush Hall on Sunday 25 October, their first return to the venue since they played there in 2024. They're touring as part of their Crooks & Crimes run, and the set pulls from both ends of the catalogue — songs from the new material alongside older ones.
It's a specific line-up to see live: piano, synth, cello, acoustic guitar and vocals. Having the cello and acoustic guitar in the mix gives the sound a different weight than you'd get from a standard band, and the synth lets them stretch out into textures that don't always sit comfortably on a guitar. The vocals tie it together, and with the piano holding the middle, it's a full enough sound to carry the room without needing to lean on a loud rhythm section.
Because they're playing songs old and new, you'll hear the newer stuff from Crooks & Crimes alongside the earlier records they've built their reputation on. It's a good way to see where they've come from and where they're heading in one go, rather than just a run through the latest release. If you've followed them for a while, the older songs will be familiar; if you're coming in fresh, you'll get a decent cross-section of their work.

It's a Sunday night, so it's one of those gigs that doesn't ask you to stay out until the early hours. The show starts at 8:00pm, and tickets are £27.50, which includes the booking fee.
