Late-night jazz blowing sessions with jazz-funk, soul, R&B and hip hop across Ronnie Scott's, part of the EFG London Jazz Festival.
Ronnie Scott's is taking over the late-night slot for the EFG London Jazz Festival this November, with the Late Late Shows running from Friday 13 to Saturday 21 November. It's Ronnie's contribution to the festival's 'Celebrating the Jazz Clubs' strand, a series of late-night blowing sessions that put some of the UK's finest jazz talent on stage. The music pulls from jazz-funk, soul, R&B and hip hop, and there's a DJ playing sets before and after the live performances.
Two rooms are running at once, each with its own programme. On Friday 13 November, the ground floor hosts Late Late Electronic, hosted by Chiminyo, while the upstairs room has Viva Cuba. Saturday 14 brings Late Late Electronic back downstairs with Alpha Cassiopeiae, and N22 upstairs. Monday 16 is a single act, Late Late Soul Sessions Upstairs with Imanni. Thursday 19 sees Amphitrio on the ground floor and Cosmic Fusion upstairs. Friday 20 has Jeroboam downstairs and Viva Cuba returning upstairs, and Saturday 21 closes with Jeroboam again on the ground floor and The Nest Sessions upstairs.

Because it's a late-night series, the timing is a bit different from a standard gig. Doors are around 11:15pm or 10:45pm, with stage times starting around midnight or 11:30pm. Tickets are £15.50 for the ground floor and £18.50 for the upstairs room, both including fees. You can pick your night and your room, or mix and match across the week if you're staying out late.
