All-night electronic music night with London selector Kirollus digging through boogie, funk, soul, disco and house at KOKO's Theatre.
Kirollus takes over KOKO on Friday 6 November for an all-night-long set, and it's just him on the decks. If you've come across the name before, you'll know the format: one selector, one night, and a record bag that doesn't really stick to one lane. He's a London-based selector and one of the city's most active diggers, and that's exactly what this night is built around.
What he plays is hard to pin to a single genre. His sets move through boogie, funk, soul, disco and house, and he's known for unearthing overlooked gems and cult records alongside the dancefloor classics. It's the kind of digging that pays off when you're on the floor and hear something you've never come across before, but that still fits the room. He describes his sets as being driven by instinct rather than genre — energetic, playful and rooted in the music that shaped club culture — so the night is less about a specific sound and more about where he takes it.

The whole thing runs in KOKO's Theatre, which is a big, iconic space to have one person holding the fort for the entire night. It's a long one, too: doors open at 10:00pm and it doesn't wrap up until 5:00am, so you've got seven hours of him working through the records. If you're planning on staying until the early hours, it's worth keeping in mind that the Theatre operates on a 19+ door policy, with valid photographic ID required to get in. Doors at 10:00pm, end at 5:00am.
