Underground footwork and bass night with a local lineup of essdtwothousand, Atlana, babyesquire, REEVO, CHAMBER45 and demosoldier at The Glove That Fits in Hackney.
INVERT returns to The Glove That Fits in Hackney on Thursday 22 October, running from 20:00 until 02:00. It's an underground night built around footwork and its wider family of bass, 140 and leftfield electronic sounds, usually sitting in the 140-160 BPM range and booking local lineups.
The line-up for this one is essdtwothousand, Atlana, babyesquire, REEVO, CHAMBER45 and demosoldier. With six names across the night, there's plenty of room for each set to breathe rather than a rushed run of short slots. The sound is footwork at its core, but it pulls in from the broader 140 and bass scenes, so it's as much about the low end as it is the fast, syncopated rhythms.
The Glove That Fits is the night's Hackney home, a basement space that opened in 2018 in a former warehouse and has held onto its industrial character. It's a room of around 120 capacity, with a custom d&b audiotechnik system in the basement that was precision-tuned after the venue's 2026 renovation. There's also a Gloves Off patio powered by Funktion-One, so you can step out for air without losing the music entirely. Between the two, it's a well-equipped setup for a night that leans this heavily on the bass.
