Live concert by the Swiss-Ecuadorian guitar duo Hermanos Gutierrez, with special guest Gaby Moreno, at the Eventim Apollo.
Hermanos Gutiérrez play Eventim Apollo on Tuesday 1 December, with Gaby Moreno as special guest. The London date is part of the European leg of their Los Ojos Del Cóndor tour, which follows a North American run with Jack Johnson this summer and autumn.
Hermanos Gutiérrez are the Swiss-Ecuadorian sibling duo of Estevan and Alejandro Gutiérrez. Their cinematic guitar work has built a following far beyond the background of film, and Los Ojos Del Cóndor is their latest record, released 25 September on Easy Eye Sound. It was produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys at his Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville. The ten-track album draws their sound more directly towards their South American roots, and the single 'Canto Andino' arrived alongside it.
Beyond their own records, the brothers have collaborated with Leon Bridges and Natalia Lafourcade, and they co-composed the score for SURFILMUSIC, the documentary on Jack Johnson. The London show is part of the European leg of the Los Ojos Del Cóndor tour, which follows a North American run with Johnson this summer and autumn.
