Live show by feeble little horse touring their album 'bitknot' at EartH in Dalston, a 16+ event.
feeble little horse play EartH in Hackney on Monday 23 November, from 18:30 to 22:00. The show is presented by AEG & Outbreak and takes place in EartH Hall, at 11-17 Stoke Newington Rd, Dalston, London N16 8BH.
They're touring their third full-length album, bitknot, which Sebastian Kinsler, Lydia Slocum and Jake Kelley wrote, arranged, produced and recorded across their homes in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The band describe the record as an investigation of the space between human nature and a culture of convenience, and they call it a synthesis of dirt and digital. The cover art draws on the 'core memory matrix' used in early computers.
Reviewers have pointed to Kinsler's arrangements, Slocum's introspection and saccharine hooks, and walls of noise and synths set against Kelley's drumming, describing the sound as rooted in the early aughts yet gesturing toward a chromatic future. It's a record that sits between those two poles — the organic and the digital — and the live set will be built around it.
