Panel discussion and interactive workshop on how technology is reshaping sustainability and responsibility in fashion, part of The Fashion Law Edit's 'Fashion Futures' series.
Fashion Futures: Sustainability & Tech in Fashion runs at Samsung KX on Wednesday 25 November, from 6 pm to 9 pm. It's part of The Fashion Law Edit's 'Fashion Futures' series, which looks at how technology is reshaping sustainability and responsibility in fashion. The night is built around a few big questions: how brands can back up their sustainability claims without greenwashing, the tension between speed and environmental footprint, and the role of supply-chain and last-mile infrastructure, with a focus on life cycle assessment and the rise of hyper-local, on-demand fashion delivery.
The evening brings together perspectives from sustainability science, retail technology and fashion logistics in a panel discussion, followed by an interactive workshop that walks you through a real-world fashion sustainability scenario. There's time for audience questions and networking after that. Linus Chu, founder of The Suitstainable Man, is on the panel.
The series sits within a wider shift towards responsible fashion: lab-grown alternatives to cashmere, investigations into the labour conditions behind official football shirts, and national action plans for textile waste. It's less about a single trend and more about how the industry is actually changing on the ground. The workshop part means you're not just listening to a talk; you'll be working through a scenario yourself, so it's a good one if you'd rather get stuck in than just sit in the audience.
