Panel with the filmmakers of 'Wild London' and a Natural History Museum scientist about urban wildlife, with a live Q&A.
Dig Deeper: Behind the Lens of Wild London is at the Flett Events Theatre on Tuesday 3 November, part of the Natural History Museum's Dig Deeper series. It's a panel discussion that brings together the filmmakers from Wild London and one of the Museum's own scientists to talk about urban wildlife, with a live Q&A to follow.
Dig Deeper is the Museum's programme of sessions led by its own scientists and external speakers, each one going further into the place's history, pioneering science and collections. This particular instalment brings in the team from Passion Planet, the people behind the documentary Wild London. They'll be sharing stories from behind the scenes and talking through why urban wildlife matters, with Sir David Attenborough and the Museum's own gardens at the heart of the film. The session is recommended for ages 12 and over, though all ages are welcome, and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
It's a good one if you've seen Wild London and wondered how they actually got those shots, or if you're just interested in the wildlife that manages to make a living right here in the city. The live Q&A gives you a chance to ask your own questions, so it's not just a talk you sit through.
