A roaming '70s New York-style disco with a Halloween twist, played in a secret crypt in South London.
Detour Discotheque is coming to London on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October, starting from 7pm. It's a roaming party that ends underground for Halloween, filling a secret crypt with a '70s soundtrack. The venue is a secret location beneath the vaults of a hidden space in South London, and the exact spot is announced 48 hours before it kicks off.
Detour Discotheque is a double bill of two glamorous '70s New York-style discos that pop up in weird, unexpected places. It's done this before in an Icelandic fishing village, a remote Scottish island, a Swiss mountaintop and a 16th-century Italian masseria. The music leans on Studio 54 classics like Donna Summer, Chic and Earth, Wind & Fire, played with a Halloween twist. The night is described as starting with a civilised drink or two and ending inside a crypt in the bowels of the city.

Capacity is capped at 500 people, so it's a limited run rather than a massive club night. The dress code is more suggestion than rule, with flares welcome if you're feeling it. Tickets are £15, and it runs across both Friday and Saturday nights from 7pm.
