18+ world music dance night with five hours of music and dancing across Latin America, Nigeria, the Afro-diaspora, SWANA, London of the 2000s and South Asia.
Dance Around the World returns to The Orange Room on Saturday 24 October, and this one is billed as the last edition of 2026. It's hosted by Sama Speaks as a festive 'culture day', and the whole thing is built around the idea of a community club that takes you around the world through music and dance.
Over the course of five hours, the music travels through Latin America, Nigeria x Puerto Rico, the Afro-diaspora, SWANA, London of the 2000s and 2010s, and South Asia. The organisers put it as travelling through three continents without leaving London. The sound moves across jazz, electronic and Latin, so it's less of a single genre and more of a broad sweep. The line-up for the day is i3, incognito, EWASOUND, Z, Juicy and Steamed Hams.

The venue is split into two rooms: a dance floor for when you want to move, and a sitting-room-style community space with pizza and drinks, which they've set up as a place to make friends and connect across different backgrounds and ages. It's an 18+ event, and the whole thing runs from 2:30pm to 7:30pm at The Orange Room, 375 High Street, Stratford, E15 4QZ. Entry is £15.
