Cultxre Halloween

Cultxre are back in London on Saturday 31 October with a full-scale Halloween production they've billed as cinematic, immersive and built entirely for the occasion. It's a one-night-only affair, and the organisers make it clear from the start that you're part of the story rather than just watching it unfold from the sidelines.

The night is framed as a murder mystery: 'everyone is a person of interest' and by midnight everyone has a story, though not everyone has an alibi. It's a setup that puts the crowd right in the middle of the action, so you'll want to think about your role before you arrive. The fancy dress is a requirement to get in, and they're quite firm about it — no effort with the costume means no entry, and there are no refunds if you turn up underdressed. Masks aren't permitted, so keep your face visible.

There's a bit of admin to sort before you head out, too. You'll need to present a physical, government-recognised photo ID at the door that matches the name on your ticket, so don't leave your wallet at home. The venue is in London E14 5AB, and the exact location is sent out to ticket holders rather than listed upfront.

It runs from 10pm to 3:30am, so it's a late one that carries on well into the early hours of Sunday morning. Tickets start from £19.12 and go up to £38.62, depending on what you go for.
