Corner Corner Comedy Club

Kae Kurd headlines the Corner Corner Comedy Club on Friday 6 November, with the night presented by Corner Corner Club in association with Nice n Spiky. Kurd is a familiar face from Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Celebrity MasterChef and The Apprentice: You're Fired, and he co-hosts the BBC's Wayne Rooney Podcast alongside the podcast Ain't Got a Clue. He's also the voice of ITV's Loaded in Paradise. When he's not on stage, he writes for Have I Got News For You, Cunk & Other Humans and A League of Their Own.

Hosting the night is Eshaan Akbar, who was the first person of Bangladeshi heritage to appear on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week and QI. He played Principal Lakhani in Netflix's Sex Education and voiced Rishi Sunak, Sajid Javid and Narendra Modi on Spitting Image, following a career as a banker, policy adviser, speechwriter and journalist. Joining them are Dublin-born Rachel Galvo, who trained in musical theatre at Mountview and whose debut show The Shite Feminist sold out across the UK and Ireland, and comedy actor and writer Jack Barry, a series regular in Mae Martin's Feel Good and Rose Matafeo's Starstruck.

It's a full bill for one night: Kurd on the headline, Akbar hosting, and Galvo and Barry filling out the line-up. The show runs from 8pm to 10.30pm at Corner Corner on Maritime Street, SE16 7LL, with doors opening at 6pm. Tickets start from £18.74.
