Cancer Bats headline Dingwalls in Camden on their Marshall Made of Loud Tour, with support from Ignite and KNIVES.
Cancer Bats play Dingwalls in Camden on Saturday 31 October, headlining the Marshall Made of Loud Tour. They're joined by Ignite and KNIVES, so it's a full bill rather than just the one band.
Cancer Bats are a Canadian hardcore metal punk band from Toronto. They've got five studio albums behind them, three Juno Award nominations, and a long history of touring. In 2018 they self-released their sixth album, The Spark That Moves, on their own Bat Skull Records, dropping the full record on 20 April without any prior singles. It was recorded in Winnipeg at producer JP Peters' Private Ear studio and mixed by Eric Ratz, and it blends the band's melodic and aggressive sides across eleven tracks, closing with 'Winterpeg', which features guest vocals from Propagandhi's Chris Hannah.
This date is part of the Made of Loud Tour, a new live music initiative by Marshall Records that combines touring, venue investment and community support to champion independent venues and local scenes. The sixteen-date UK run launches alongside the band's new album, Give Me Dirt, and coincides with the tenth anniversary of Marshall Records.
