Burns Night celebrations across London with haggis suppers, poetry readings, toasts, bagpipe music and ceilidh dancing to mark Robert Burns' birthday.
Burns Night comes to various venues across London on Monday 25 January 2027, the anniversary of Robert Burns' birth. The night celebrates Scotland's national bard, born in 1759, and it's a tradition that falls on or around that date every year.
If you've never been to one, the whole thing is built around a supper of haggis, neeps and tatties, washed down with a dram of Scottish whisky. The food is only part of it, though. The evening usually includes poetry readings, toasts, bagpipe music and ceilidh dancing, with recitals of Burns' poems and songs like the Selkirk Grace and the Address to a Haggis. It's as much about the community spirit and the cultural festivity as it is about the meal, and it gives you a proper glimpse into Scotland's heritage.
