Friday night of hip hop, R&B and afrobeats played by resident DJs upstairs at The Blues Kitchen Brixton, open until 3 AM.
Brixton Fridays returns to The Blues Kitchen Brixton on Friday 6 November, with the night running from 9:00 pm until 3:00 am. It's a Friday-night upstairs/downstairs concept, which means the venue is split into two rooms playing different things at once, so you can move between them as you feel.
Upstairs is where the hip hop, R&B and afrobeats sit, and the DJs draw from names like Kendrick, Wizkid, Lauryn Hill, Burna and Hus. Downstairs, it's soul and neo-soul. The two rooms run simultaneously, so if you're in the mood for one and the other starts calling, you just head up or down the stairs. Resident DJs keep both going until 3:00 am, so it's a long one if you're sticking it out.
