Bashment & Afrobeats - Halloween Party

Grand Empire in Catford is hosting a Bashment and Afrobeats Halloween party on Saturday 31 October, running from 9 pm until 3 am. The night is built around a fancy dress theme, and there's a £100 cash prize for the best outfit, so it's one of those where coming dressed up actually pays off. There's a 360 photo booth to capture the costumes, free sweets and chocolates, and giveaways of flags, whistles and horns to keep the energy up.

On the music, Bashment and Afrobeats take the lead, with Dancehall tracks mixed in throughout. The set also pulls from Soca, Hip Hop and R&B, so it's not just one sound all night. If you're going with a group, birthday and table packages are available, which is worth keeping in mind if you'd rather have a base for the night than spend it all on the dancefloor.

There are a few things to get right before you head down. The dress code is ladies sexy, guys smart casual, with no hats, hoods, sportswear or shorts. And it's a strict no ID, no entry policy, so make sure you've got yours on you.
