Bashment & Afrobeats Clapham Party

Hardly Home UK are bringing a Bashment & Afrobeats night to Soul Lounge on Friday 23 October, and they're billing it as 'London's Biggest Party Of The Year'. It runs from 10 pm until 5 am, so it's a proper late one that carries on well into Saturday morning.

The music covers bashment, afrobeats, dancehall, soca, hip hop and RnB, so it's a wide stretch of sounds rather than sticking to one corner of the room. Around that, there's a fair bit going on: a 360 photo booth, free sweets and chocolates, giveaways of flags, whistles and horns, and shot girls. There's also a £100 cash prize for the best-dressed female, so if you're planning on putting some effort into your outfit, this is the night to do it.

If you're going with a group and want something more than just the dancefloor, there are VIP table packages. They come with a personal host, professional photography, champagne, wine, spirits, nibbles, sweets, chocolates, helium balloons, decorations, a card, poppers and sparklers. It's a full setup, so it works if you're celebrating something rather than just heading out for the music.

On the practical side, the dress code is ladies sexy, guys smart casual — no hats and no hoods. And don't forget your ID, because no ID means no entry. Tickets are £7 Early Bird and £10 Standard, but everyone gets in free before midnight, so if you get there early, you'll save yourself a few quid.
