Closing party of the '4 Fridays at Phonox' series with British-Indian selector Anish Kumar behind the decks for six hours of electronic music.
Anish Kumar is back at Phonox on Friday 23 October, and this time he's taking the whole night. It's the closing party for 4 Fridays at Phonox, the series he's been running throughout October, and it's the only one where he's the only name on the bill.
Kumar is a British-Indian artist and selector who curates nights of electronic music. He announced his return to Phonox as four Friday nights across the month, each one shaped as a unique offering, and each show bringing along some of his favourite selectors. This closing party is the final instalment of that run, and instead of a supporting line-up, Kumar is in the booth himself for six hours of music. If you've followed the series, this is the one where he takes the reins from start to finish.
