Networking coffee meeting for women working in the music industry to connect, share experiences and support each other's careers.
Amplify Her is hosting its next Coffee Meeting for women in the music industry at 21Soho on Friday 30 October, from 11am to 1pm. It's a morning session, so it fits around a working day rather than taking up an evening.
Amplify Her is a live event and a community that works to empower women across the music industry, and the Coffee Meeting is its networking arm. The format is straightforward: female music industry professionals gather for a hot drink, connect with peers, and support one another. The stated mission is to help each other advance their careers and champion gender equality within the sector. It's pitched as a space to share experiences and relieve some of the self-imposed pressure that comes with the profession, so it's as much about the conversation as it is about the connections.
The sessions are run by Amplify Her Live and are open to over-16s. If you're working in music—or looking to get into it—it's a chance to meet people who understand the specific grind of the industry and to talk shop in a room where everyone is coming from a similar place.
