A Vivaldi & Mozart Candlelight Experience

A Vivaldi & Mozart Candlelight Experience comes to St Michael's Church, Highgate on Saturday 7 November, with three separate sittings across the day. It's a candlelight concert that pairs a pianist, a string duet and a vocalist duet, all paying homage to Vivaldi and Mozart.

The programme draws from some of the most recognisable names in the classical canon. From Mozart, they'll play Eine kleine Nachtmusik and movements from Divertimento K.563. Vivaldi gets the other half, with The Four Seasons and the third movement of the Gloria Concerto in A minor. With a pianist, a string duet and a vocalist duet on stage, it's a small ensemble taking on pieces that usually call for much larger forces, and the candlelight is the main thing that sets the scene.

Lumos, the company behind the event, describes its work as bringing enchanting concert experiences that pay homage to world-famous artists by partnering with spectacular locations and churches across the UK. They also make a donation to a different charity each month. Inside the church, the audience sits in tiered zones — Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze — on a first-come-first-served basis, and the venue is wheelchair accessible. It's recommended for ages 8 and over.

There are three sittings to choose from: 5-6pm (doors 4.15pm), 7-8pm (doors 6.30pm) and 9-10pm (doors 8.30pm). Tickets range from £22 to £49.50, depending on the zone you go for. St Michael's is on South Grove, London N6 6BJ.
