Weekly free open mic comedy night held on Mondays at Kazimier Stockroom.
Witty Whippet Comedy Open Mic is running at Kazimier Stockroom in Liverpool, with the next session on Monday 2 November. It's an open mic night, which means the stage is open to comedians coming to try out new material, so you'll hear a mix of established names testing fresh bits and newcomers getting their first few minutes on their feet. That's the thing about an open mic: you're seeing the work while it's still being shaped, rather than a polished hour.
It's not a one-off, either. The night runs every Monday from 26 October through to 14 December 2026, so if you miss the 2 November date, there are plenty more to choose from over the next few weeks. It's a good way to keep a regular Monday night in the diary if you're into stand-up and don't mind the unpredictability of a room where half the acts might be working through something they've only just written.
Kazimier Stockroom is tucked into the Kazimier Garden site, and the open mic format means you're as much a part of the night as the people on stage. Because it's an open mic, the line-up changes from week to week, and you'll likely see a different set of faces each time you go back. It's the kind of night that works best if you're happy to roll with the punchesโsome bits will land, some might not, and that's just how these things go.
Every week we pick ๐ the 5 best ๐ things to do in Liverpool and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Entry is free, so it's an easy one to drop into without worrying about tickets. The next one is Monday 2 November at Kazimier Stockroom, and with the run going until 14 December, there's plenty of room to find a Monday that suits.
