Wine & Cheese Club

Ten Streets Wine is hosting another Wine & Cheese Club tasting session on Thursday 29 October, starting at 19:30. It's a collaboration between the wine bar, which sits in the centre of Liverpool, and a local cheese deli: each tasting pairs a selection of wines with a cheese from the shop, and the evening finishes with live music.

The format is straightforward. You'll work your way through a range of wines, each one matched with a cheese brought in from the deli, so the pairing is the whole point of the night. Once the tasting is done, the live music takes over to see the evening through. It's a regular thing rather than a one-off, with sessions running every eight weeks, so if you miss this one, there'll be another in a couple of months.

On the wine side, the highest ABV among the selections is 14.5%, which gives you a fair idea of the range you'll be working through. The whole thing takes place at Ten Streets Wine, 30 Dublin Street, Liverpool, L3 7DT, with tickets from £45.00.
