Triple Headline Show

Hot Water Comedy are putting on a triple headline bill at Blackstock Market on Saturday 21 November, with Danny McLoughlin, Adam Staunton and Gavin Webster all taking the stage. It's one of those nights where you get three full sets rather than one headliner and a few openers, so you're in for a fair bit of comedy. Hot Water Comedy is based here in Liverpool and runs two purpose-built venues, and their flagship shows usually pull together some of the best headline names from across the UK, with regular TV faces on the bill.

Among the three, Adam Staunton is a scouse funnyman who's performed alongside John Bishop and Sarah Millican, so he'll be playing to a home crowd. Gavin Webster is a Geordie known for loud, sharp and controversial comedy, and Danny McLoughlin rounds out the three. Between them, you've got a local favourite and a loud voice from the North East sharing the same bill.

The night is backed by live music, and there's food available all day at Blackstock Market, which is billed as Liverpool's biggest food market. The venue also runs its own comedy night, Live Music Nightly, and has a roof terrace and a whisky and cocktail bar, so it's easy to make a full evening of it rather than just popping in for the show. Doors open at 17:30, the show starts at 19:00 and finishes by 21:00, so it's a proper Saturday night out that doesn't run into the early hours. Standard tickets are £18, and there's a free birthday ticket and a free Blue Light/Teacher ticket available too.
