The Ordinary Skin School: Navigating Sensitive Skin

The Ordinary are bringing their Skin School to John Lewis Liverpool on Thursday 28 January 2027, from 6 pm to 7 pm. It's a one-hour masterclass that takes you inside the brand's formulations for sensitive skin, so if you've spent any time trying to figure out what actually works for your skin without it flaring up, this is exactly that conversation.

The session centres on the skin barrier, which they frame as the key to your skin's overall resilience. When that barrier is compromised, it's where dryness, irritation and sensitivity tend to kick in. The class walks through the science behind why that happens and how to work with it rather than against it. You'll get a look at how to apply The Ordinary's products to support the barrier, with the Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% as one of the examples they'll be working through.

It's a booking exclusive to My John Lewis members, but you can book additional tickets for friends and family and redeem them with your My John Lewis card or app. Everyone who attends gets a complimentary gift to take home, too.

The masterclass runs from 6 pm to 7 pm at the Style Studio on Floor 1 of John Lewis Liverpool, 70 South John Street, L1 8BJ. Tickets are £10, and that amount is redeemable against The Ordinary products you buy on the day, so it effectively pays for itself if you're picking up a few things.
