An afternoon of Disney-inspired drag, games, karaoke and audience interaction with Linda Gold and the FunnyBoyz queens, featuring bottomless tea, coffee and unlimited drinks.
The Disney Afternoon Tea is at FunnyBoyz Liverpool on Friday 16 October, starting at 16:00. It's hosted by Linda Gold and the FunnyBoyz queens, and it takes the venue's usual approach of giving childhood classics a very naughty drag makeover. The afternoon is built around Disney-inspired drag, games, karaoke and audience interaction, with plenty of moments 'Walt definitely didn't approve'.
Dressing up is very much encouraged — as a princess, a villain, a prince or any Disney character, and the more ridiculous the better. The experience runs every Friday from 4pm and includes a platter of cakes and sandwiches, bottomless tea and coffee and unlimited drinks. You'll spend around 90 minutes at your table before you have the option to keep going at the bar.
FunnyBoyz itself is a drag-queen-hosted venue that brings drag shows, bingo, silly games and tribute acts to the city, with a regular programme of themed nights. The Disney Afternoon Tea is one of those regular fixtures, so if you miss this one, there's another on the following Friday.
