Merseyside five-piece The Coral play the O2 Academy Liverpool on their first headline UK tour in almost three years, the 388 Tour.
The Coral are playing the O2 Academy Liverpool on Saturday 31 October, bringing their 388 Tour home to the city. It's their first headline UK tour in almost three years, and this is the Merseyside date on that run.
The tour follows the release of 388, their thirteenth album, which has been well-received. It's a high number for a band that's been around as long as they have, and it puts the new material in context with everything that's come before. The set will draw from that latest record, and the tour takes it across the UK, with this stop being the one closest to where they started.
They're a Merseyside five-piece, and this is a headline show, so they'll be the only name on the bill. The tour is named after the new album, 388, which is the record they're out supporting. If you've followed them for a while, you'll know they've kept a steady pace with the releases, and this one marks their first time back on a headline tour in the UK since before the album came out.
