Live Beatles tribute show by the club's resident band, The Cavern Club Beatles, in the historic Live Lounge.
The Cavern Club Beatles are back at The Cavern Club on Saturday 2 January 2027, playing the Live Lounge. They're the club's resident tribute band, formed here in Liverpool in 2011 and built to replicate both the look and the sound of the Fab Four. Between them they've toured the world extensively and played shows on London's West End and on Broadway.
They've spent a good deal of their time marking Beatles milestones. In February 2014 they played dates across New York and Florida for the 50th anniversary of the band's first Ed Sullivan appearance, and in 2015 they played Obertauern and sold-out Vienna shows for the 50th anniversary of the filming of Help!. They're a headline act at International Beatleweek in Liverpool and have staged recreations like the rooftop gig on top of The Shankly Hotel. In 2024 they performed their new Beatles V Stones theatre show and headlined the Liverpool Celebrates festival at the Pier Head.
The venue itself is part of the story. The original Beatles played the Cavern 292 times between 1961 and 1963, and Sir Paul McCartney returned to the Live Lounge in 1999 and again in 2018. The room is standing with some unreserved seating, so if you're keen on a seat, it's worth getting in early.
