Saturday night of live bands, Eurovision anthems and disco hits with drag queen banter and a drag queen DJ host at Dysco.
SNL brings Live Bands, Eurovision & Disco Belters to DYSCO Liverpool on Saturday 24 October, one of several dates they're running at the Stanley Street venue. They bill the night as 'Saturday Night Live', and the format is built as a crowd-pleaser: part live set, part DJ party, and all sing-along energy.
The music pulls from three distinct corners. You've got some of Liverpool's best bands playing live, Eurovision anthems that everyone knows, and disco belters from the 70s, 80s and 90s. It's a broad mix, and the whole thing is held together by drag queen banter on the mic. There's a drag queen DJ host on hand to step in if the live band can't make it, so the music keeps going regardless.
Because it's a recurring night, this is one of a few dates SNL is running at the same venue, so if you can't make this particular Saturday, there are others to choose from. It's a night that leans into the sing-along side of things, with the live band and the DJ set working together rather than one following the other.
