Weekly Wednesday salsa social with a beginner class led by instructor Ellena McConville, followed by bachata sessions and a chill social.
Ellena McConville is running a salsa social at BOXPARK Liverpool on Wednesday 21 October, from 19:00 to 22:00. It's part of the Wednesday Salsa Social series, and it's open to dancers of all abilities, so you don't need to have a first step under your belt to turn up.
The evening is split by level and style, which means you can pick the session that fits where you're at. The 19:00 to 20:00 slot is for salsa beginners, followed by bachata beginners from 20:00 to 21:00, and then a bachata improvers session from 21:00 to 22:00. If you're new to both, you can do the salsa hour and the bachata beginners hour back-to-back, or just stick to one style for the night.
Once the classes wrap up, you can hang around for a chilled social. BOXPARK has sports or a film running on the screens and table service, so it's less of a 'clear out' and more of a place to stay on and wind down. If you've just spent an hour on your feet, having a drink and a seat while the screens do their thing is a decent way to end the evening.
