Quiz Night at Newington Temple

Newington Temple has a quiz night running every Monday, and the next one is on Monday 19 October. It's hosted by Natalie Ricketts, who keeps the whole thing moving, and it's built around fun trivia and general knowledge questions, so it's the kind of night where you can get by on a bit of everything rather than needing to be an expert in one particular thing. There are prizes up for grabs, too, which gives you something to play for beyond just the bragging rights.

It's a weekly fixture, so if you miss this one, there's another the following Monday. The most recent listing shows it running on Monday 12 October, and it's a regular part of the venue's Monday night line-up. Because it's a weekly thing, it's easy to make a habit of — gather a few friends, pick a team name, and turn it into your usual Monday night out. If you're on your own, it's a good way to spend an evening in the city without needing a whole plan mapped out in advance.

One thing to keep in mind is that the long-term schedule isn't fully confirmed, so the venue advises checking in directly before you travel. It's worth a quick message or a look at their latest updates if you're planning a few weeks ahead, just to be sure it's still on. The quiz starts at 19:00, so you've got plenty of time to get settled with a drink before the first round kicks off. You'll find Newington Temple at 8 Newington, Liverpool, L1 4ED, right in the city centre.
